Josh specializes and takes great pride in providing tailored wealth solutions for both his personal and corporate clients. Having a broad knowledge of taxation, investing, and retirement planning enables him to provide strategies that help his clients feel prepared and secure about their financial future.

In 2019, Josh’s dedication to clients, determination for continuous improvement, and outstanding performance was recognized by one of Canada’s major banks, receiving an award for Financial Planning excellence at the national conference. After a decade in the financial services industry he and his business partner, Patrick, founded Simcoe Wealth so they could have an environment to provide clients holistic financial services where they can always put their clients first.

A resident of Springwater, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, Erin, and their three young children, Jessica, Alex, and Aiden. An avid athlete all his life, he is very proud to sponsor great organizations within the community such as the Barrie Christian Hockey League and Minesing Minor Ball. He also volunteers his time coaching children’s sports, helping them develop their skills, and encourages them to chase their dreams.

Patrick has spent over two decades in his profession working at investment firms in the Barrie and Simcoe County area prior to joining Manulife Wealth Inc.. His mission is to serve his clients and add value that exceeds the conventional services offered at big box financial institutions.

A Certified Financial Planner by trade, he has built his practice by giving clients objective advice tailored to their individual needs and goals. He strongly believes in communicating in clear and simple language that all his clients can understand.

He and his team specialize in helping retirees and pre-retirees within five to ten years of retirement who want to retire with confidence and everyday people who may not be thinking about retirement yet, but have other goals that require planning e.g., buying a house, having a family, funding the kids’ education, or simply taking more vacations while staying on track and protecting your financial future.

As the oldest of three siblings in a farm family household, Patrick grew up learning the importance of financial security and protection. Today he lives a very busy life with his wife Ronna and their two children. Their daughter, Hannah will be attending Trent University studying forensic sciences. Their son Benjamin is in his final year of high school and is learning how to drive.

When Patrick’s not working, he likes spending time outside riding his motorcycle, camping, and golfing.

Erin is a seasoned marketing professional having worked in a variety of industries including retirement living, a marketing firm, industrial manufacturing, and e-commerce retail. Her passion for marketing and creativity have enabled her to successfully maintain websites, design print and digital advertisements, run email campaigns, and develop promotional strategies.

Before making a career change to marketing, Erin worked in office administration where she was responsible for bookkeeping, accounts payables and receivables, payroll, and tech support all while providing professional customer service. She’s been recognized for her kindness and willingness to help clients and coworkers without hesitation.

Her primary role with Simcoe Wealth | Manulife Wealth Inc. is to create awareness about the firm’s elite financial planning services and outstanding dedication to achieving results. A natural team player, Erin enjoys supporting the office and learning about new opportunities to get the company’s name out into the public eye. She strives to keep clients happy, after all, they are the reason we are in business.

She recently launched new social media accounts for the firm on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram where clients can follow and browse through blogs and articles that cover important topics such as investing, estate, retirement and tax planning, budgeting, wellness, and more.

Erin and her husband Josh reside in the beautiful town of Minesing with their three children, Jessica, Alex, and Aiden, and their pet Joy, who is often said to live up to her name. She enjoys playing soccer and tennis and has recently taken up golf. In her free time, Erin volunteers as a coach with the Barrie Soccer Club. Erin began playing piano at the age of five, and has taken dance lessons over the years, curating a strong love and appreciation for music and dance.
